Lee Desrosiers Private Dinners is based in Sonoma County, close to the abundant sea, forests, and farms of Northern California. We offer catering services to clients looking for ingredient-driven seasonal food prepared with nuance and intention. We have worked at every scale - from large events to small dinners and everything in between.

Lee brings a deep appreciation of regional cooking to every event, shaping each menu around what he describes as the terroir of food: season, place, and the expression of their relationship. Guided by this intention, every gathering becomes a distinct experience, defined by aesthetic care and a commitment to supporting the ingredients and recipes that reflect the greater spirit of the occasion.

Lee Desrosiers currently resides and cooks in Sonoma County, California. He has spent the past 20 years cooking in and outside of kitchens in New York, Massachusetts and California. Lee has worked for several of Andrew Tarlow’s restaurants including the celebrated Achilles Heel known as the birthplace of Hell Chicken. LD Private Dinners grew organically from his experiences in high demand kitchens, working directly with farmers and the immediacy of the food prepared over a fire.

He continues to evolve and adapt his cooking style to the world around him, through collaboration, community, seasons and the farmers and producers and clients that he works with. From weddings, birthdays, retreats, gatherings, gallery openings to holiday parties, he works with you to create a menu built around your vision.
